Dr. Hamaker is a renown leader in head and neck surgery. He is a board certified otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon with many years of facial cosmetic surgery experience. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University. Following residencies at Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Wayne State University, he completed a head and neck fellowship in New York City.

Dr. Hamaker is currently a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery where he is a member of the academy's forum for surgical excellence. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and American College of Surgeons. His cosmetic surgery interests include facelift, otoplasty, rhinoplasty, implants of the facial bones, scalp reduction, and liposuction of the face and neck. Dr. Hamaker has dedicated his entire career to teaching through his commitment to post graduate fellowship training opportunities, as well as to development of new techniques and procedures of the head and neck cancer.

He is the Medical director of the Clarian Health Head and Neck Center.
