Richard W. Borrowdale, MD is a specialist in
disorders of the head and neck. His expertise is in the surgical
treatment and reconstruction of cancer of the head and neck as
well as general otolaryngology. He excels in the treatment of oral cavity, throat, sinus and
skull base cancer and is highly
experienced in the reconstruction of cancer and trauma defects
using grafts, flaps and microvascular tissue transfer.
A special interest of his is treating thyroid and parathyroid disorders. He is full
time instructor in the head and neck and microvascular surgery fellowship training program.
Originally from Chicago, Dr. Borrowdale
completed his medical studies and specialty training at Loyola
University in Illinois. He did an additional year of fellowship
study in complex surgery and reconstruction of head and neck
disorders in Indianapolis. He has several publications and has
lectured extensively. |
